Go Global: Growing Your Business Through Trade – Workshop Series – Comox Valley

Please join the B.C. Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation for a special event series on how British Columbia’s (B.C.) free trade agreements (FTAs) can help you enter new international markets, grow your business, and connect with potential buyers and partners.

Alongside the Export Navigator Program, representatives from the Ministry will discuss:

  • how to access these opportunities
  • what they mean for you and your business and how they can be used to reduce costs for customers
  • the benefits of utilizing export as a growth strategy
  • the numerous export services available to you in B.C., whether you are an experienced exporter or just getting started

Canada enjoys a strategic and competitive advantage through comprehensive free trade agreements with the United States, European Union, Japan, South Korea, to name a few.  Our free trade agreements and foreign investment promotion and protection agreements such as the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA), the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), and the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), cover more than 50 foreign markets and provide new export and investment opportunities for workers, businesses, and investors in B.C.

Come learn about how B.C. is building strong trade relationships and protecting B.C. against uncertainty in the global economy, and how your business can benefit from FTAs and the export services available to you!

There will be time for networking during the event and we want to hear from you if your business is experiencing any trade barriers in other markets.
